Where the Wild Things Are Kids Camp (7+)

August 8 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Let’s take a walk on the wild side! Art Kiddos will be going on a nature hike to observe all of the wild critters, bringing back sketches and ideas to create their individual, colorfully illustrated collection! We will compile drawings using oil pastels, colored pencils, chalk pastels, markers and watercolor pencils with the help of photo references and professional instruction. This is a busy camp where we will be learning new techniques to accomplish wonderful artwork. If your child loves all sorts of animals and would relish trying new art adventures, this is an excellent way to enjoy a week of summer mornings in and around our Moose Tree woods! A Gallery Show of the students’ art will be extended to families at the end of class on the final day. Taught by artist/instructor Pamela Palmer, B.F.A. owner of The Artist’s Apprentice. Campers please wear clothes that are not precious, bring a water bottle and a snack if you wish.

Ages 7 & up (as always, exceptions for siblings are allowed.)

$150 plus $60 material fee payable to instructor on the 1st day of classes

8/8, 8/9, 8/10, 8/11, 8/12 from 9am-12pm
