Designed for children (8-12) on the Autism Spectrum and a parent or caregiver, this small group class will offer an opportunity for each child to experience a tactile, hands-on sensory experience using stoneware clay. The children, with help from their adult partner, will shape clay either through sculpting techniques or using a slab, and various tools and textures. Similar to our monthly Community & Clay sessions, students will use a variety of Mayco’s Stroke & Coat glaze on their items which will be single fired and ready for pick up two weeks following their visit.
