Course Overview

Visit the Orion Art Center’s Pottery Studio at Moose Tree Preserve to make pottery magnets, trinket trays, and any number of small, handbuilt items. Using our studio-grade M-11 Stoneware and Mayco’s Stroke & Coat glazes, students can make any number of items which will be glazed, fired, and ready for pick up two weeks following their visit.  We have an abundance of cookie cutters, textures, and tools that will enable you to create awesome decorations or simple gifts.  Feel free to bring cookie cutters and items found in nature to help with your project.

Anyone is welcome to attend. Artists age 11 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Come and spend as much or as little time as you wish on either of these days! Registration is recommended. Maximum participation per event is 24 persons.

Cost:
$22 per person includes 1 pound of clay and use of our Stroke & Coat Glazes. Additional clay may be
purchased for $2 per 1 pound of clay
